Why I do the things I do
I deeply believe that what we say and how we say it matters. But I also know that it is not easy to transform the ideas in our head into messages that fit the requirements of our listerners. Unfortunately, many good ideas remain undiscovered because they were not expressed in the right way. Which is why it is my goal to help anyone with an idea or story to tell that their ideas and stories are not only heard but can also unfold their impact.
I am especially fascinated by personal stories and how they can impact both the life of the storyteller and of the listeners. Which is why I decided to complement my work as a coach for Public Speaking and Storytelling with Narrative Work and to help people to become the narrators of their lives. I also started the project 301 words where people from all around the world share short personal stories so that others can learn an be inspired by their experiences.
How it all started
After living and working in Austria, Spain and Belgium I moved to Berlin almost 12 years ago where I started working for an international PR agency. As a Political Scientist I focused on political communication and worked for several national and international NGOs. I discovered my passion for public speaking after having had the chance to visit several TED and TEDx conferences and to wittness the power of the spoken word.
However, I never planned to work as an expert in public speaking & storytelling – destiny made that decision for me, but that is another story 😉
Who I work with
As a Speaker Coach I have the honor to work with many inspiring international speakers of TEDx conferences as well as with political institutions, international companies, non-profit organizations or universities in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
I am intrigued to work with people who consider public speaking as a unique opportunity to share ideas and stories that matter and to have real impact.
